Info Briefing on the Outcomes of the Industry Business Mission to Spain (Horticulture and Berry Growing) — AgroInnovation Exchange: Ukraine-Spain

Modern European practices in the modernization of the agricultural sector, innovative approaches to agribusiness, examples of successful cooperation between communities and private sector representatives, as well as the export of Ukrainian products to the Spanish market — all of this will form the basis of our online info-briefing following the Industry Business Mission to Spain (Horticulture and Berry farming) “AgroInnovation Exchange: Ukraine-Spain”.

📆 The briefing will take place on August 7, 2025, at 15:00 Kyiv time, online via Zoom. This event is a unique opportunity for communities to learn about effective forms of international cooperation and understand how to adapt the experience of foreign colleagues to their own needs. As a result, they will gain a functional toolkit for attracting investment into their own projects.

In June of this year, the Ukrainian Agency for Municipal Economic Development (UMEDA), the Mayors’ Club of Ukraine, and ALLE FOOD UA – SUPER UNION, with the participation of the Ukrainian Blueberry Growers Association, organized a large-scale industry business mission to Spain. The trip covered the country’s leading agricultural regions — Murcia and Huelva — and marked an important step towards integrating Ukrainian communities into the European business landscape.

🔵 At the briefing, you can expect:

  • A concise yet informative overview of the entire trade mission — an introduction to advanced agricultural technologies in the regions of Murcia and Huelva, visits to companies such as J. Huete International, Surexport, Cuna de Platero, ProExport Murcia (the main association of fruit and vegetable producers-exporters in Spain), a virtual tour of The International Red Fruit Congress, and much more.
  • Communication with mission participants who will share their insights and recommendations.
  • Practical advice: how to make your project attractive to Spanish investors and what financing tools are currently available.
  • Interactivity: live dialogue and Q&A with invited experts.
  • Partnerships between Ukrainian and Spanish cities aimed at building or improving cooperation in this sector.

In addition, briefing participants will be among the first to learn the details of the upcoming business mission to Spain, scheduled for September 30 – October 4, 2025. The mission will include a wide range of events, including Fruit Attraction in Madrid and multiple B2B meetings. Registration for participation is already open via the provided link.

This is your chance to discover the prospects of Spanish partnerships and engage with those already shaping the future of Ukrainian communities. Together, we can drive economic transformation and create meaningful change for our country. See you at the briefing!
