What types of wind turbines can be used not only in large wind farms but also to meet the energy needs of individual critical infrastructure facilities, municipal enterprises and social institutions? Does your municipality have sufficient wind energy potential to generate its own electricity? And what does it take to implement such a project – from an initial technical assessment to installation and operation? Where can funding for such projects be obtained?
On 28 October, we invite representatives of Ukrainian municipalities, businesses and residents to a practical online information session dedicated to modern solutions in distributed wind power generation.
The session will feature international experts from Ryse Energy, a company specialising in decentralised renewable energy solutions, including small and medium-sized wind turbines ranging from 3 to 60 kW, solar power generation, energy storage systems and hybrid energy systems. Ryse Energy’s solutions are deployed in more than 80 countries, and the company has manufacturing and engineering facilities, including in Spain.
During the information session, we will discuss:
Wind energy solutions available today for municipalities, residents and businesses. We will explore compact distributed generation systems and how they can help ensure the reliable operation of critical municipal infrastructure.
The wind energy potential of your municipality. We will present an interactive map developed within the framework of the U_CAN (Ukraine towards Carbon Neutrality) project, funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe programme. The map helps assess the wind energy potential of specific regions of Ukraine and identify the most promising areas for wind power generation.
How a wind energy project is implemented in practice. From site assessment and technology selection to project design, installation, grid connection, operation and maintenance.
Financial opportunities currently available for Ukrainian energy projects. We will take a closer look at the €570 million package of financial and insurance instruments activated by the Spanish Government in 2026 to support the involvement of Spanish companies in Ukraine’s reconstruction. Energy infrastructure is among the priority areas. We will discuss how this mechanism could support energy projects in Ukrainian municipalities in partnership with Spanish companies.
The practical value of the session: an opportunity to ask Ryse Energy representatives technical questions directly about your municipality or a specific facility.
We therefore encourage municipalities to involve relevant specialists working in energy, housing and utilities, critical infrastructure and investment project development.
If your municipality already has a specific project idea involving wind power generation, this session will provide an opportunity to obtain an initial expert assessment and ask international specialists targeted questions.
