About the Trade Mission

The REBIRTH OF UKRAINE Trade Mission to South Korea brings together representatives of Korean and Ukrainian businesses, municipalities, venture capitalists, impact investors, donors, financial institutions, angel and corporate investors, academia and government organizations to promote the successful reconstruction and economic recovery of Ukraine.

 

The trade mission will take place November 2 to 6, 2026. It is organized by the Mayors’ Club Ukraine together with Sweco, Economy of Trust Ukraine, the Ukrainian Municipal Economic Development Agency (UMEDA), the Ukrainian-Korean Business Council, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Unicorn Capital, in partnership with the Odesa Regional Development Agency and the Kyiv Regional Development Agency.

 

The main objective is to discuss and implement concrete steps towards the economic future of Ukraine and its people through an effective system of international cooperation and funding.

Target Audience of the Mission

Heads of Ukrainian municipalities, representatives of Korean local authorities, government officials, venture investors, impact investors, financial institutions, angel and corporate investors, donors, representatives and members of associations and chambers of commerce, private sector participants, including heads of planning management, external investment, business development departments, as well as PR/IR/CSR departments.

Selection Criteria for Private Sector Participants in the Mission

When selecting participants, the potential of the applicant, alignment of goals and projects with the mission’s declared areas, will be assessed. Target participants are Ukrainian businesses, service providers, manufacturers, associations/organizations, and institutions that:

  • Promote Ukrainian products and services in the relevant sector in new markets
  • Are interested in expanding their respective business in the destination country
  • Need investors and have investment projects in the relevant sector
  • Are seeking technologies, partners, suppliers in the relevant sector
     

Usually the number of applications exceeds the number of places, preference is given:

Operating within and registered in the Regional Economic Zones
Partnered with the Mayors’ Club Ukraine, UMEDA or Economy of Trust Ukraine Business Coalition

Selection Criteria for Ukrainian Municipality Participants:

Only for members of the Mayors’ Club (heads of municipalities) (+1 staff member allowed)
Priority is given to MEFP participant municipalities and representatives of their businesses
Participation is limited to a maximum of 2 cities of regional significance

Terms of participation and Registration

Registration is unlimited and continues until the full delegation is formed.
For business representatives: an organizational fee applies.

Expenses

All mayors and participants selected for the mission are responsible for covering their own personal expenses, including travel, accommodation, personal interpreter, meals, transportation, communication, etc. These costs are not included in the organizational fee!

Head of the municipality +1 staff member.
The terms and details of the organizational fees will be provided to selected participants after registration.
