Overiew:
The Rebirth of Ukraine Trade Mission is designed and will be conducted to bring together U.S. and Ukrainian businesses, municipalities, venture capitalists, impact investors, financial institutions, angel and corporate investors, academia, and government organizations to promote Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction, with a focus on efforts to ensure the integrity of the country's future. The trade mission will take place September 23 26 in Washington, D.C. The main objective of the mission will be to discuss and to execute concrete steps toward the ethical and economic future of Ukraine and its people through public-private partnerships. This will be accomplished by fostering introductions among U.S. and Ukrainian participants and to ensure that concrete results are achieved through continued cooperation both now and after the war.
Objectives of the event:
– To invite and engage representatives of Ukrainian local authorities and businesses to create a concrete network of direct access to Ukraine for U.S. companies.
– To introduce new, historic steps being undertaken to ensure ethics, transparency, and accountability in business, government, and academia.
– To connect trade mission participants from Ukraine to decision makers, investors, and other relevant parties to advance commercial opportunities in select regions in significant ways.
– To share specific needs, initiatives, and opportunities offered by Ukraine today to incentivize reconstruction and investments in the most promising industrial sectors and to lay out financial tools to minimize investor risk.
