Overview:
The “REBIRTH OF UKRAINE” Trade Mission to Denmark & Sweden is designed and will be held to bring together representatives of Danish, Swedish and Ukrainian businesses, municipalities, venture capitalists, impact investors, donors, financial institutions, angel and corporate investors, academia and government organizations to promote the successful reconstruction and economic recovery of Ukraine by establishing a constructive dialogue, which will certainly lead to the formation of long-term mutually beneficial relations with international partners.
The trade mission will take place on October 26-29 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and October 29-31 in Stockholm, Sweden. The main objective of the mission will be to discuss and implement concrete steps towards the economic future of Ukraine and its people through an effective system of international cooperation and funding.
Please note: For those who cannot travel abroad, we have added the option of “remote representation”. Please register for details.

Connect Participants
Link trade mission participants from Ukraine with decision-makers, investors, and other stakeholders to significantly advance mutually beneficial opportunities in selected regions

Highlight Opportunities
Share specific needs, initiatives, and opportunities currently available in Ukraine to stimulate recovery and investment in the most promising industrial sectors, while presenting financial tools to mitigate risks for investors

Facilitate Networking
Invite and engage representatives of Ukrainian local authorities and business to create a specific network of direct access to Ukraine for Danish and Swedish companies

Engage International Stakeholders
Initiate the creation of a network of Danish and Swedish stakeholders interested in the future opportunities presented by Ukraine and facilitate concrete direct cooperation.
We aim not only to provide assistance but to foster mutually beneficial collaboration on specific projects in Ukraine!

Heads of Ukrainian communities, representatives of Danish and Swedish local authorities, government officials, venture investors, impact investors, financial institutions, angel and corporate investors, donors, representatives and members of associations and chambers of commerce, private sector participants, including heads of planning management, external investment, business development departments, as well as PR/IR/CSR departments.

Number of Ukrainian Participants in the Mission:
- Up to 20 mayors.
- Up to 30 businesses.
Selection Criteria for Private Sector Participants in the Mission:
When selecting participants, the potential of the applicant, alignment of goals and projects with the mission’s declared areas, will be assessed. Target participants are Ukrainian businesses, service providers, manufacturers, associations/organizations, and institutions that:
- Promote Ukrainian products and services in the relevant sector in new markets
- Are interested in expanding their respective business in the destination country
- Need investors and have investment projects in the relevant sector
- Are seeking technologies, partners, suppliers in the relevant sector
Usually the number of applications exceeds the number of places, preference is given:
✅ Companies operating within and registered in the Economic Unions of communities.
✅ Companies that are members of associations and business organizations partnered with the Mayors’ Club, UMEDA, or UDA
Selection Criteria for Ukrainian Community Participants:
➡️ Only for members of the Mayors’ Club (heads of communities) (+1 staff member allowed).
➡️ Priority for communities with projects aligned with the mission’s goals.
➡️ In the event of a high volume of applications from Mayors’ Club members, priority will be given to members of Economic Unions and those communities that are traveling with their community businesses.
➡️ Participation is limited to a maximum of 2 cities of regional significance.
Terms of participation and Registration

- Registration is unlimited and continues until the full delegation is formed
- For business representatives: An organizational fee applies.**
- For mayors: No organizational fee.*
❗️EXPENSES❗️
All mayors and participants selected for the mission are responsible for covering their own personal expenses, including travel, accommodation, personal interpreter, meals, transportation, communication, etc. These costs are not included in the organizational fee!
