Training from the Centre for Reforms and Local Development - Territory Development Academy

Dear members of the Club of Mayors!

The Mayors’ Club partners, the Centre for Reform and Local Development, with the support of the German Marshall Fund of the United States, are launching a joint project “Territorial Development Academy – Programme for Modernisation and Integration of Sustainability for Community Rebuilding”.

The programme is based on compression training of practical skills in the combined application of modern knowledge, building institutional, documentary and regulatory conditions for community activities, initiating, preparing, implementing inclusive modernisation, restoration and development projects, active innovative fundraising activities to raise funds and other resources for the implementation of such projects, and forming sustainable and modern communication channels of interaction between government, business and the community.

The projects provide for the training of at least 40 highly specialised and practical young project managers to work directly in communities, as well as the creation of a model (exemplary) Community Modernisation and Restoration Plan and related tools.

The Centre for Reforms and Local Development invites representatives of local governments, civil society organisations, businesses and all young project managers who live in Ukraine and are ready to work for communities to join the programme. The training starts in April and is free of charge.
