Black Sea Forum for Sustainable Economic Development and Recovery of Southern Ukraine
On June 27, 2024, the Black Sea Forum for Sustainable Economic Development of Territorial Communities in the Context of Ukraine’s Reconstruction was held in Odesa.
The event was attended by territorial communities of the southern region, both offline and online, business representatives, and international partners. The event was made possible thanks to the initiative of the active Koblivska community in cooperation with the Mayors’ Club and the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Oblast.
This event has become an important platform for the exchange of experience and ideas on the reconstruction and development of the South of Ukraine aimed at economic development and attracting international investment.
They discussed projects in the region, development tools, international cooperation, and much more. The forum program, speakers, and topics are available here.
Participants had the opportunity not only to present their projects, but also to establish new partnerships and gain valuable insights from experts in various fields.
The Forum demonstrated that sustainable development of the region is only possible with a comprehensive approach that takes into account economic, social and environmental aspects.
The results of the discussions and the participants’ developments will form the basis for further actions to develop local communities and the region as a whole. A number of memorandums of cooperation on regional development projects were signed, initiated by the most active Koblivka community thanks to a public organization headed by Volodymyr Kylivnyk.
Holding such a forum allows us to track progress, adjust strategies, and ensure consistency in the implementation of long-term projects aimed at sustainable development and reconstruction of the South of Ukraine. We hope this will become an annual tradition and look forward to hosting the Black Sea Forum in Mykolaiv region next year.
