Over 2.5 years into the full-scale war against the Russian aggressor, small and medium-sized businesses in the Trostianets city territorial community remain an active participant in the struggle for Ukraine’s independence. Even in times of war, businesses operate, pay taxes and provide resources to continue defense.

During the occupation, 25 facilities of the community’s business infrastructure were completely destroyed and 29 were damaged.

The production of industrial products in Trostianets ATC is represented by 7 enterprises, namely:

  • PJSC “Mondelez Ukraine”,
  • Jacobs Dow Egberts Ukraine LLC,
  • Deca-Bread LLC,
  • Eldorado Trading House LLC,
  • SE “Trostyanets Forestry” of SE “Forests of Ukraine”,
  • SE Trostyanets Agroforestry,
  • LTEK 17 LLC.

These enterprises were looted and partially destroyed during the occupation of Trostianets. However, despite the significant losses, the management of these enterprises decided to reinvest in the development of production, and in a fairly short time all of them partially resumed operations and, accordingly, provide jobs to the local population.

Thus, Mondelez Ukraine PrJSC and Jacobs Dow Egberts Ukraine LLC entered the top 1000 largest Ukrainian companies by revenue. According to Youcontrol Market in 2023:

– PrJSC “Mondelez Ukraine” – UAH 6 177 776 000

– Jacobs Dow Egberts Ukraine LLC – UAH 4 151 808 000

Eldorado Trading House LLC (production of flour and cereal products).

During the occupation, Eldorado Trading House LLC actually saved the people of Trostiansk from starvation. Grocery stores were looted by Russian occupiers and looters and damaged by the fighting. Employees of the company risked their lives to distribute free flour stocks, which saved Trostyanets from the food crisis. Caring residents of Trostyanets baked bread from this flour and distributed it to the population for free.

After a week of occupation, control over the enterprise was lost. During the Russian occupation, equipment and machinery were damaged, office and warehouse premises were looted, about 100 tons of finished products were stolen, and the total amount of damage to the company amounted to about UAH 3 million. The company began to restore the plant almost from the first days of Trostyanets’ liberation from occupation, and in mid-April 2022, the production process was launched. Today, the company has fully restored its pre-war production volumes.
