Memorandum signed between the Mayors' Club and
the Union of Builders of Southern Ukraine

     On November 9, 2024, as part of the international trade mission REBIRTH OF UKRAINE, which took place in Kyiv, the Mayors’ Club signed an important memorandum of cooperation with the Union of Builders of Southern Ukraine.

     The signing ceremony took place in Borodianka, where the foreign delegation symbolically concluded its visit to the cities that suffered significant losses due to Russian aggression. As part of the visit, the delegation, together with representatives of the Mayors’ Club, visited Irpin and Bucha to see the extent of the destruction with their own eyes and discuss possible ways to restore it. The trip culminated in the signing of a memorandum in Borodyanka, which is an important step in creating sustainable mechanisms for rebuilding the affected regions.

     Yulia Chufistova, Director of theMayors’ Club, and Alyona Zameliuk, Chairwoman of the Board of the Union of Builders of Southern Ukraine, emphasized the importance of joining forces to implement innovative and sustainable reconstruction projects. The memorandum opens up new opportunities for cooperation between local governments and businesses, which will help attract investment and strengthen partnerships in the construction industry.

     The signing of the memorandum is part of a large-scale initiative to restore the infrastructure of the affected communities in Ukraine, attract international support and introduce advanced construction technologies. This will not only contribute to economic development but also aims to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the residents of these regions.
